Red Devils should sign ‘Olmo’ to strengthen the attacking game.

Louis Saha has admitted he regrets Manchester United missed out on signing Spain playmaker Dani Olmo this summer.

The Red Devils added five new players to their squad this summer, with Joshua Zirkzee, Leni Yoro, Noussair Mazrawi, Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte all joining.

However, Saha thinks Olmo should be another signing for United, with the 26-year-old joining Barcelona in a deal worth around £51million.

“In the areas behind the forwards, they’ve only got Bruno Fernandes, who creates a lot of chances. That’s not normal and it’s not good enough,” Saha told Paddy Power.

I would have liked to have seen Dani Olmo come in before he went to Barcelona. He was proving before he went to Barcelona that he could score goals and provide assists. สมัคร ufabet That’s the type of player you need for a team. “We let Jadon Sancho go,

he was on the bench and didn’t get a chance. “

We’ve made some good reinforcements, especially in defence. I am very pleased with the signing of these three defenders. They are good signings but none of them make the players around them play better.”

Olmo is too similar to Fernandes and Mount

While the Spanish international is undoubtedly an excellent player, it’s hard to see where he would have fitted into United’s starting lineup.

Olmo can play as a No.10 or out wide, but ten Hag already has players such as Fernandes or Mason Mount who can play in similar positions.

You could argue that, due to Mount’s recent injury record, a move for Olmo could have been considered, but the recruitment department clearly felt there were more important areas to strengthen.
